Azərbaycan diliIn early 2012, Foster Wheeler (now WOOD) established a permanent presence in Azerbaijan, with the formation of SOCAR – Foster Wheeler Engineering LLC (SFW). SFW provides Engineering, Procurement and Construction supervision and Project management services associated with Oil & Gas Facilities (Downstream/Upstream), Environmental and petrochemical projects developed in and out of Azerbaijan.
Facilities:
- SFW currently accommodates 150 personnel
- All required 3D Design Software and Engineering tools are available
- Around 1200 m² of high standard flexible office layout and 850 m² site office
SFW has:
- In-house capability and experience to perform engineering from concept studies, pre-FEED / FEED and through detailed Engineering Procurement services.
- Multi-disciplined team covering every facet and requirement of projects as per WOOD work procedures and instructions.
- Full staff in Process, Machinery (Rotating & Static), Civil, Structural, Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, Construction support, Environmental and related disciplines.
- All disciplines supported by the latest generation 3D Modelling (SP 3D) and design tools as well as sophisticated elements for laser scanning, topographical, inspection capabilities that make projects more efficient and cost-effective.
- Procurement activities run based on in-house software and long-term trusted vendor list of WOOD. Under the procurement function we have expeditors, logistics specialists to keep projects on track without surprises.
- Construction management teams with considerable knowledge provide coordination, HSE and QA/QC oversight, pre/post-commissioning assistance.
- Engineering staff of highly qualified 90 specialists and PMC staff of 50 senior specialists.
